President Buhari receives Governor-Elect of Ekiti State, Kayode Fayemi in Abuja (Photos)

Today, President Buhari received Governor-Elect John Kayode Fayemi in State House.

The Ekiti State Governor-elect, Kayode Fayemi received his Certificate of Return from the Independent National Electoral Commission yesterday at a ceremony held at the state’s INEC office in Ado-Ekiti, the state capital.

Fayemi won the governorship election by defeating the candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Prof. Kolapo Olusola.  His running mate, Otunba Bisi Egbeyemi, also received his Certificate of Return at the event. 

Husband finds his cheating wife and her mechanic lover' dead in their garage while having sex (Photos)

A man from New Jersey found his wife dead alongside her mechanic lover who both had been reportedly having sex in a running car on Monday night.

The husband, Kahali Johnson, told ABC that returned home Monday night to find his wife and the mechanic she was having sex with dead before calling the police just before 9pm.

According to him, he went to investigate after a strong gas odour entered his apartment and found the pair 'laid out'. He said when he found them, they were both outside the car, which they left running.

'As I tried to open the last garage door, I see the mechanic, he's laid out,' Johnson said.

'She's just a few feet away, she's laid out. And pretty much I had to call 911, because at this time, with that level of emissions, I knew that they were gone.'

Law enforcement sources also confirmed to NBC that the woman, 39-year-old Tameka Hargrave and the 56-year-old man believed to be her mechanic, had died of carbon monoxide poisoning.

The sources said the deaths were accidental and they believed Hargrave had been paying the man to fix her car by having sex with him.

Nigerian show host cheats death after a ghastly accident (photos)

Carl Chisom Onwuka, a show host, had a close brush with death but was lucky to come out alive.

Onwuka was involved in a ghastly auto crash this morning that left his car mangled but he survived without a scratch. He went to the hospital after the accident but was given a clean bill of health. He was even strong enough to laugh with friends and record a video shortly after the accident.

The remains of the car was photographed at the accident scene and it's hard to believe that anyone could come out alive from it.

Herdsman stabs police officer to death in Kebbi

A police inspector was killed by a herdsman in Bagudo local government area of Kebbi state yesterday July 11th.

According to reports, a farmer had reported the herdsman to the police officers at Kaoje police station in the local government. The farmer accused the herdsman of bringing his cows into his farm to feed and destroy his crops. 

A police officer was ordered to go and arrest the herder who was still wandering with his cattle within the area. The Police officer who came with his riffle, arrested the suspect but as he was taking him to the waiting patrol vehicle,the herdsman drew his machete and stabbed the officer in his neck. The officer bled to death.

Confirming the incident, the police public relations officer (PPRO), DSP Mustapha Suleiman, said the hersman has been arrested and has also confessed to the crime.

Daughter of former deputy governor of Ondo State found dead under the bed of her boyfriend’s house

Adenike Khadijat Oluboyo, daughter of the immediate past Deputy Governor of Ondo State, Alhaji Lasisi Olugbenga Oluboyo, was found dead at her boyfriend’s house in Akure today July 8th..

Oluboyo, who was a final year student of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko, was found dead in the house of Adeyemi Alao, popularly known as Q.S.

Femi Joseph, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO), Ondo command told the News Agency of Nigeria that the incident is being investigated.

One week after it was cancelled, President Trump says summit with North Korea is back on

US President, Donald Trump's summit with Kim Jong-un in Singapore on 12 June is back on a week after it was scrapped.

Trump made the announcement after talks with a senior North Korean envoy at the White House today. He also said that North Korea "wanted to do denuclearisation", although the North did not confirm this.

The envoy, Gen Kim Yong-chol, hand-delivered a letter from the North Korean leader to President Trump. Trump said it was "a very interesting letter and at some point it may be appropriate" to share it.
